Situation
Starting in version 1.2.57 of the KSP (Knox Service Plugin), an IT administrator can change a device's default Wi-Fi network setting to skip MAC address randomization and use its own MAC address instead.
Process Description
The following steps allow users to turn off MAC randomization by using the Samsung Knox Service Plug-In (KSP) in an app policy on the SOTI MobiControl web console:
1. Go to Policies > Apps to create a New App Policy.
2. Select Add Apps > Manage Google Play in the Apps tab.
3. Add the Knox Service Plug-In. If you have already added it, select the KSP to Add.
4. Select Configure to open advanced app configurations.
5. In the Managed App Config tab, toggle on Enable Manage App Config.
6. Toggle on Enable device policy controls.
7. Under Device Controls, toggle on Enable Wi-Fi policy controls.
8. Enable Allow to configure Wi-Fi (Configure details below).
9. Select Add to add another configuration profile in the Wi-Fi Configurations section.
10. Enter the network name, select the security type, and enter the network password.
11. Enable Skip Mac Randomization and select Save to commit your changes.
12. Select Save to add the KSP Wi-Fi configuration.
13. Save and Assign the app policy to the device.
Verification and Validation
Once the KSP application is installed, verify it on the device.
