How to View the App Catalogue in iOS or macOS Devices

The App Catalog is not visible in iOS or macOS device, so you cannot see which all applications are installed or pending for install on the device that are pushed through an app policy from SOTI MobiControl.

To identify which apps are installed through an app policy or are pending install in iOS or macOS devices, you must have the app catalog profile installed on the devices.

For iOS Devices

1. Assign the App Catalog profile present in the SOTI MobiControl console by default to the iOS devices.

2. If the profile is not present, you can create one with the same name.

3. Assign the payload webclip with the URL:

https://ENTER FQDN HERE/mc/mdm/appcatalog/%DeviceIdentifier%

and assign the profile to the device.

For macOS Devices

1. Assign the App Catalog for macOS profile present in the SOTI MobiControl console by default to the macOS devices.

2. If the profile is not present, you can create one with the same name.

3. Assign the payload webclip with the URL:

https://ENTER FQDN HERE/mc/mdm/appcatalog/%DeviceIdentifier%

and assign the profile to the device.
