I am trying to enroll a Samsung x cover pro 2 via afw but once I enter my enrollment id into mobicontrol. I will get: Enrollment Failed. Please retry or contact your system administrator. I have tried enterprise and plus with the same result have also tried both google play install and from the website. I believe it has something to do with Knox as I never have this issues with my zebra's only with Samsung's and only every once and a while. Currently on V14.1.8.1064
Hello, I've managed to execute / run a file with: File://%sdcard%/servers.2xc In lockdown items, Having the file in the root of sdcard ofcourse. But it requests which app it wants to use: Is there a way to choose a package file without the request?Devices are Android 10 enrolled as device owner.CK65 - honeywell.
The device was stolen and a Wipe action was initiated while it was offline. A few hours later the device was recovered and remains offline. Is there any way to cancel the Wipe action?
I'm having trouble getting the web-based remote control working on MobiControl Whenever you try to connect with HTML, the navigator goes to the login page of the WebConsole. If I try to login, the cicle keeps spinning but it never logs or shows an error. I have installed SOTI Assist version 3.0 and am running MobiControl 15.2 I have checked the following in this file <SA Install folder>/Server/Config/RestAPI.config --> MobiControl Rest API URL and it matches my FQDN I have checked the "SOTI assist server" URL in the Global settings of my web console and it matches my FQDN as well Any suggestions on what to try next?
Can we set up a rule or have another method to auto relocate the devices to their original group when the billing period starts again ? In our case, we want to monitor the monthly cellular data usage on our Android devices. I have created two groups : Group A - original and Group B - data usage exceeded : - Required action 1 : relocate the devices which reached the limitations to the Goupr B - Worked by TEM feature ! I have set up a telecom expense management rule that works well. - Required action 2 : auto move the devices back to Group A - original when the billing period starts again - Did not find the feature in MobiControl I saw that the device relocation rule can automatically move devices between groups, but It is based on changes in the IP addresses or other specified custom data. The issue of the two options for us is : option 1 : changes in the IP addresses We do not know which devices will relocate to the Group B. We need manually add the IP addresses and change the activation schedule at the end each month. option 2 : specified custom data - .INI File / .XML File for Android+ devices. Do you have any idea which custom date is available for our case ? Thanks,

Hi, I've created an Advanced Data Formatting rule within DataWedge for a Zebra TC25 that has 27 actions to convert each letter of the alphabet into uppercase when scanning a barcode. The rule works fine, however, I then exported the profile, saved it on our SOTI server and pushed it back out to my device via a SOTI rule (saving it in /enterprise/device/settings/datawedge/autoimport) the rule is created, but none of the actions are present. However, if I copy the file to the device and use the manual import profile function within DataWedge it works fine. Has anyone had similar issues? Regards Steve
I must be missing something obvious here. I have a test Android Plus device (Samsung ELM v14.4 agent) running in lockdown mode. I have security settings requiring an alphanumeric password. We are looking at using this on 1 group of devices. Assuming the device is locked, and being that the password is set by the user, how am I supposed to remote control the device when the user isn't logged in? I won't know the password, when I try to unlock it prompts me for it. I know I can remove the password but this then means the user has to set it again. Even when I do remove the password, when the user tries to set it again, while is user mode the user will be told they cannot change the password due to device permissions. I expect I must be doing something wrong, setting something wrong as it seems unnecessarily clunky and not thought out on how this operates at the moment.

I would like to Upgrade my enrolled devices with SOTI from Android 7.1.2 to Android 8.1.0 I downloaded the follow files. Full image version: 02-32-04.00 LifeGuard update14 version: ATLAS_DELTA_UPDATE_02-32-04.00-OG-U14-STD How can I manage a zero touch OS update? I need a Work Managed Device with Device Owner enrollment type, because the Remote Control and the default apps are necessary. I think with Android 8 I have to use Enterprise Agent, so if the upgrade done I don't know what gonna be hapen with original Android Classic OEM agent. I'm afraid the device will no longer be available via SOTI. My enrolled device, environment parameters: Zebra MC3300 Android 7.1.2 - FPU_ATLAS_02-07-08.00-NG-U00-STD Enrollment type: Android + MC Web Console version: 15.2.4 MC agent version: GoogleMobicontrol1441_1064 Thanks in advance.
I need to reset datawedge version 6.4.18 on android kitkat to factory default but it doesn't have that option maybe a better question is I have a web page that we need to scan in username and password to access. on my zebra 9300 with android 10 and datawedge only thing I needed to add was profile0\basic data formatting, check send enter key so that it would scan our barcode and then sign in however on my mc9200 with kitkat and datawedge i've tried everything and can't get it to scan in username, tab down and scan in password, should be very simple but now that I've changed a lot of settings probably best to get back to default and relook at everything
Hello everybody, does anyone have experience with Android Enterprise in China? A customer of mine wants to use his SOTI MobiControl Cloud instance in China. He is using Zebra devices world wide (Andoird 8 or higher). The problem will be the Android Enterprise Enrollment. Usually we enroll devices with the token afw#mobicontrol as Google address but that wont work in china. I have some ideas but no experiance with China. 1. Use a VPN Network with GMS access for the device Enrollment in China 2. Only ship enrolled devices to China (would not be perfect because if we have to re-enroll devices for any reason) 3. Maybe other Enrollment methos except the token will work without GMS? I am happy for every idea you have, thank you in advance!
I'd like to be able to add a Chrome browser bookmark to the home screen of our Zebra devices. Soti Surf isn't an option as Chrome is required for the bookmarked website. We have it set as a bookmark but the users would like it added to their home screen. I have reviewed a few other articles about this issue but haven't found a solution other than switching to Soti Surf which isn't an option. https://discussions.soti.net/thread/chrome-url-shortcut-on-home-screen/ https://discussions.soti.net/thread/website-urls-on-home-screen/
