Hi All. There was an add device rule created for android with the option of skipping the activation of google account during enrolment. These devices will display the "Account activation pending" in the device details tab for android enterprise. We have now created and MGPA and done the binding on SOTI. Added this enterprise into the add device rule. Any new devices that gets enrolled using this add device rule will get the MGPA account (long charater string google account) This is the same rule we used to enroll the devices earlier with a option of skipping the google account creation during enrolment. Question is can we enable the process of the old devices getting the MGPA activated without a reset and re enroll of the devices? Mobicontrol-14.3.3.1111 Devices- Honeywell CT60 Android 7 GMS
Hey Guys, i need Help to write a Script for disabling Google Play Protect. I have get following URI String by using the Script "watchsettings on" Custom log (URI:content://settings/global SETTING:package_verifier_user_consent VALUE:-1) How can i write a Script for Honeywell now to distribute it via Profile on alle Honeywell Devices? I tried follow Scripts: Script was sent to device (sendintent URI:content://settings/global SETTING:package_verifier_user_consent VALUE:-1) Script was sent to device (sendintent -a "Intent://settings/global SETTING:package_verifier_user_consent VALUE:-1") Script was sent to device (sendintent -a "intent:content://settings/global SETTING:package_verifier_user_consent VALUE:-1") Script was sent to device (sendintent - b "content://settings/global SETTING:package_verifier_user_consent VALUE:-1") On alle these Scripts Nothing happend, the Google Play protrect was still enabled. Can anyone Help ?
Does anyone manage honeywell dolphin devices? I am trying to push out a package containing EZConfig XML settings however the devices (CT60) have to be in provisioning mode to have the settings applied. I assume I can setup a pre and post install script in the package to enable and then reboot the device? Does anyone know the script string to enable honeywell provisioning mode and trigger the update? Seems like "watchsettings on" is not supported on these devices as they are enterprise not plus devices.
We use CT50 & CT60 and we want to push our microsoft email exchange configurations to these devices. But when i tried to add the confugurations to an Android plus profile and install the profile, i saw the device logs show "feature not supported (EXCHANGE)". In SOTI help doc it shows Active sync is not supported on Honeywell devices. So what is the alternate method we have to send email configurations to our Honeywell Android devices ? Please advise Our aim is that when the user open an email client from the device, it should ask only his user name and password and then his emails messages should be downloaded to the device from the mail server.
Hi , I'm unable to enable sync settings for this VM3 Honeywell Device which is running on OS Windows Enterprise 64bit , the reason i wanted to enable this function because advised by one of the technical team from SOTI where i'm not able to send packages ( I/O error ) This unit enrolled in Windows classic , but the packages successfully deploy whenever we restart the SQL / MS / DS services in MobiControl server. Hello Regarding MobiControl and Honeywell Android units, for example the Honeywell CT50 Android 6 I'm currently testing.I was wondering if anyone maybe have tested something like this before or have some toughts, I find Honeywell easier to work whit than Zebra but Zebra may have a little more advantage whit MobiControl as script comand to rund update downloaded on to the unit before hand. So from Honeywell and CT50 in this case, may have been changed in the newer units.Honeywell describe OTA update as making a xml provisioner whit their EZConfig as tasks: Source: http://server_ip/Honeywell_CommonES_Android_Common_4.01.00.3455.zipAction: InstallFile Destination: /storage/IPSM/honeywell/autoinstall/CommonES.zip This basically downloads and moves CommonES to destination folder and is automatically runned on reboot. Source: http://server_ip/HELSINKIAD_71.01.04.0015.zipAction: InstallOta Destination: Downloads and rund the kernel update whit a reboot when finished, on boot again the CommonES first downloaded is being runned. This is ok in itself sinse it can be downloaded from HTTP, HTTPS and FTP but when running several thousend units and more comming in diffrent location in non and secure networks it becomes a challenge to setup all the FTP and web servers to make this happen. So, could the Content Libary be used for this action, upload the OS files and downloaded to the unit.Downloading the CommonES to a file location should be ok but download kernel and run action InstallOta I'm a little more unsure of. Or could Content Libary setup a path in either HTTPS or FTP as we could have linked to barcode in EZConfig.So Ota is downloaded from https://sotiurl/ContenLibaryPath? Best regards Øystein Stakvik
we downloaded android agent for honeywell CT60 Dolphin(Anroid 7.1.1) device from http://www.soti.net/oem . Agent is Honeywell new gen v13.5.0 we succesfully enrolled device, but on device detail window on soti mobi kontrol web console there is a warning log that says "Invalid device software version (Device is not allowed to upgrade)" As a result, app that we want to install on device via profile and peckages stays on pending install Thanks for any suggestion
