Hello, I need to configure a device with single app mode, but when I enable this option screen keeps all black. Hello together, I have create 2 profiles for a iOS device. One with "Feature Control" and one with the "Single App Mode". I have add the app Google Drive there. Also in the "Future Control" under "Applications/Single App Mode Whitelist" has the Google Drive added. The configuration looks that the keyboard is disabled. The problem is, the user can't login in Google Drive, if the single app mode is enabled. But I don't found a setting point to enable this in the profiles. My question is, how I can enable the keyboard in the single app mode? Thank you in advance and best regards Janni
Hi we are using SOTI for 3000+ Android devices with SOTI 13.4 and would like to switch to single app mode. However we are not able to access the administator mode and we have tried that "touch" solution in this article (https://discussions.soti.net/kb/administrator-mode-while-in-single-app-mode/) on multiple devices without success. Does this really work? Is there any script command we could use to "enable/disable" SAM ? The only fix we found so far and it's not really usable is uninstalling the application we are running - this is however a poor solution since we want to access the devices for troubleshooting. Looking forward to your response! Best regardsMarcus Oscarsson
We have a project in which we need to allow the user to access one app to start but then open other apps from it. Using the Single App Mode under security & restrictions within MobiControl allows for the iOS device to be put in the correct mode but you cant open any other apps. We have tried using the Single App Mode Whitelist setting under Security & Restrictions > Restrictions > Applications > Single App Mode > List with no success. Do we need to modify anything in our app to allow it to open other apps from the whitelist when in Single App Mode? For example our use case is we have developed a customer iOS app made for hotels that will run in Single App Mode. From our app we want to launch Spotify, Netflix and other apps without exposing the iOS dashboard. As a note when we disable Single App Mode profile we can launch other apps from our application. The blocker is trying to launch other apps while in Single App Mode.
