Hi, We are experiencing problems adding Managed Google accounts to our tablets, this issue started occurring last week and there have been no changes to the build. This is what is happening:- Run any Google app (Gmail etc). Select the Add an email address option. Select Google and login using the managed Google account details. Agree to T&Cs "Checking Info" screen comes up and then exits back to the "Mobicontrol" app screen. At this point it should automatically start the "Google Device Policy" app so that the Google policy can be accepted and activated. Workaround: run Device policy manually after trying to add the account. This is a problem for some of our Kiosk build which done have access to the Device Policy app directly. Can you help please Our tablets are all Samsung T510
Hi,Using a device enrolled as Android Enterprise; When enrolling the device tries to get a Google Account but the kiosk is locking the device down before the device completes getting a Google Account. This means that when in the Kiosk there is a message at the top of the screen saying "user action pending" and I can't use the Application Catalog. Am I doing something wrong?
Hi, With the device in AE, is it possible to add the Google Bindings at a later date or can it only be done at the point of enrollment? Thanks Josh.
We have some work managed devices (Android 7+). We'd like to use our enterprise catalog managed by GooglePlay. We don't want to allow users to download an application without our validation (IT department), but we want still allowing the Google personal accounts creation. Is there any way to disable account switching only in the Google Play application? Thank you. Regards
Hi, My Setup is MobiControlCloud 1.4.1.5.1284, SOTI upgraded it today. Tablet is a Samsung Tab A 10.1 with a pen (2016) model # SM-P580 Running Android v7.0 Google Domain is Binded to MobiControlCloud and I see it in both sides as being connected. Setup COBO (Company Owned, Business Only) I would like to enroll Company owned Tablet Android Enterprise with afw#mobicontrol and Device Reset, to push to the tablet a single user Manage Google Account that is binded to the the company's domain, and the user cannot add another personal account. I used both device enrollments rules setups. I can use a Manage Google Play Account that only pushes the apps, and if I disable the Google Account Creation from feature control then the user can't add any account to it, and if I enable it then I can add anything. The Manage Google Account with the binded domain can add anything to it as well within the tablet like above but without apps being pushed. Also, with a loophole that I found by backing out the sign-in screen I can add any Google Account. I would like to restrict it in a way that I can only push the user's Managed Google Account to a specific tablet. Basically I want to push the accounts so they may use the Google Apps like Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides. The problem is I don't have a local LDAP server that is broadcasting the AD to the internet, and I was wondering if there any other way to manage this via Azure AD or idp from Google SAML app, or anything? I'm missing that feature because of LDAP so I don't find a way to assign the Google Accounts to a tablet in MobiControlCloud Security. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks. -Kenneth
I want to add a corporate gmail account to devices which have been built under Android Enterprise. The option to add the account is disabled and with a popup saying to contact the mobicontrol administrator there is no security option to enable (or disable for that fact) within Feature Control as I am used to seeing with an Android+ profile. How do I allow the addition of another Gmail account?
