Hi everyone, we’re currently experiencing an issue in SOTI MobiControl:When adding custom attributes as columns in a personalized view and exporting the data as CSV, only the main headings appear – the actual values of the custom attributes are missing. This behavior occurs for all custom attributes and all users. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a possible solution? If not, we’ll forward the case to SOTI Support. Best regards,Fabian Example: CSV-Export without custom attributes CSV-Export with custom attributes (Custom attributes = mde)
Hi everyone, 👋 I’m currently working on optimizing our setup in SOTI MobiControl and was wondering if there’s a way to assign or limit custom attributes to specific device groups only. The reason behind this is that we only need certain attributes for certain groups, and having all attributes visible for every device quickly becomes confusing and cluttered in the console. Is there any way to manage visibility or scope of custom attributes per group — or perhaps a best practice to keep things organized when working with many attributes? Any advice, ideas, or experiences would be greatly appreciated! 🙏 Best regards,Fabian
Hi, Is there any way via example custom attributes or custom data, to set 3 different values to an application? For example, the application (we install via MC) we have has 3 values that needs to be filled in at first start. One of the values is unique per device. Is there any way to automate this via SOTI MobiControl instead of manually having to enter this? The device is a Sunmi P2 Lite SE, Android Classic Thanks
Hi I was hoping to avoid creating a heap load of app rules / app policies by using custom attributes (%CustomAttr:attr_name%) to fill in text depending on the device group. Unfortunately it's not working. I can use standard macros (%ENROLLEDUSER_USERNAME%), so I was hoping to be successful using the macro from custom attributes too. Different device groups are pointing at different servers which is defined in the managed app config. Any ideas to accomplish this? Br Thomas
