Missing values for custom attributes in CSV export

Hi everyone,

we’re currently experiencing an issue in SOTI MobiControl:
When adding custom attributes as columns in a personalized view and exporting the data as CSV, only the main headings appear – the actual values of the custom attributes are missing.

This behavior occurs for all custom attributes and all users.

Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a possible solution?
If not, we’ll forward the case to SOTI Support.

Hi Fabian,

Can I please know what version of Mobicontrol you are using? I've tested this myself and the custom attribute export correctly.

Also what method are you using to export the CSV?

Hi Darius,

thanks for your quick reply.

We are using MobiControl version 2024.1.0.1052.
I’ve attached a screenshot showing how we perform the CSV export.

Please let me know if you need any further details to reproduce the issue.

Hi Fabian,

The only difference between the testing I've done and your portal is I did the test on 2024.1.2.1046

It may be the version of Mobicontrol has a specific bug that was fixed in the later versions - without being able to see the portal itself it's quite hard to troubleshoot.

I'd suggest raising a case with SOTI directly to see if they are aware of any reporting issues in that specific version of MobiControl.
