I have mobicontrol version 14.2 and I need to assign custom attributes on my devices.
1. Anybody here who knows the right format for creating the csv file as seen below?
2. I created a csv file via notepad which contains the following:
3. But it seems I got an error when uploading it to the Webconsole
Appreciate if someone can enlighten me using above data.
Your first line should be :
DeviceID,AttributeName,AttributeValue
Also, the file to be imported should have file extension .csv
If I remember correctly we were only able to get one Custom Attribute imported at a time so we created separate CSV files for each of the different Attributes. We also used the format MAC,AttributeName,AttributeValue.
I swear I've seen the option for importing a csv before but cannot find it. Where is the option for uploading this file?
Sorry for the late reply. We have version 14.2.0.
I was able to find it by clicking the ellipses next to View All Devices.
