Hi, We are currently testing some Honeywell CT40 devices (android 9 OS) The device have a SIM card with data, but during enrollment it couldn't contact our Mobi server. As soon as I put it on wifi it connected to it and enrolled. I've also verified in the Mobi app, when you remove the Wifi and turn into network data there's SSL handshake errors and it get's disconnected. The server is currently running with a SHA-1 certificate. We are expecting to update this soon, as were updating our fleet of devices. Why there isn't SSL handshakes errors on Wifi and only on network data ? Thanks,

We have over 300+ Panasonic FZ-X1 handheld devices and we need to check the battery serial numbers. I noticed at this link that this is something that Data Collection can collect. My issue is that we have Mobicontrol v.14.2 and not v14.4 (from the reference pages version below). When my collection rule is setup, Battery Serials aren't being collected. Hi I do have this on a case whit Soti but wanted to check if any one else have had this issue earlier or maybe some tips on what to check. We did a server update from 14.4.5 to 15.0.2, after this finished we saw no unit's under "View all devices" list.After about 5 minutes we had about 10 devices showing of total 1228 devices. About an hour later this had jumped to show about 570 devices of 1228 and 3 days later it only showed 980 devices of 1228. We now have restored DB and server back to 14.4.5 but issue is still present.This makes me belive issue always has been there but not noticed before the upgrade that now was done. Before downgrade we tried re-build both "data" folder and "Search" folder for MobiControl Search as well as re-install.The "MobiControl Search Sync Interval" shows "Failed" and integrity 100% under server tab. Server mostly contains Windows Mobile devices and a few CE devices that are now going to be swapped whit Android so also a couple of Android devices present for testing. Due to the WM and CE devices as server was installed SHA2 it has been changed to SHA1 for this. Anyone seen a problem whit Search not been able to load devices from DB og slowly loading devices?Any settings that could be wrong or impacting this on comunication whit DB? All test and checks does not indicate anyting to me on this. Best RegardsØystein Stakvik
Hi all, We are testing Honeywell CT60 scanners with proxy auto-config settings where we specified the PAC URL and set it as DHCP. When using Chrome in lockdown we can access the whitelisted URL's and it works as expected. But when using Soti Surf it gives us a white screen and after 10 seconds a time-out. Can Soti Surf work with the proxy auto-config? Are there extra configurations we need to push? The current server version is v14.2.1.4394
Hi, A customer asked me whether there are ways to achieve the followings for AEDO device (Android 8.1.0) with MC v14; . Set same effect as Settings>Display>Advanced>Display size>Small via script or other methods. . Set same effect as Settings>Security&Location>Screen lock>None via script or other methods. . Set same effect as Setting>Apps¬ifications>MobiControl>Display over other apps>Allowed via script or other methods. . I have a conundrum? I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 running Android 7 and it has MobiControl client 13.5.1.1044. It has a lockdown screen and MobiControl is one of the apps available. All other apps open as expected but MobiControl does not. The screen just flashes and returns to the lockdown screen. This has only happened to one device but cynical experience says it could become an issue. I have other Tab 2s on this and other clients running fine. Also Tab 1s again with no issue. The link on lockdown HTML is launch://net.soti.mobicontrol.elm.samsung. If I disable the lockdown screen and open the client it opens fine. Server is 14.1.4.1693 running in the cloud. I'm open to suggestions
if I want to enroll TC25 devices via Android Enterprise, can I do QR Scan right from the very start I open the box and turn-on the device (Assuming google setup wizard prompts)? I'm sure this request might sound a little confusing at first but I'm looking for a way to pre-configure the Default column view in the for a new MC user. I often have to reconfigure the default column views for every new MC user that I create with some of our common customizations like Custom Data values that we're extracting from the devices. Is there anyway to set those default Defaults?
