Hi,is there a way do disable creation of account in settings?User creation in Feature control is not allowed, but this solves issue only trough settings, not when logging to MS apps.If I login once and clear any app data, on first start up it will find this account and use it. Server version 15.2, Agent 14.5.5, Zebra ET56, android 11.
I have currently the strange Problem that when i enable feature control on our TC8300, and someone pulls out the battery or it gets empty the device gets somehow stuck and wont boot again for another 10-15 minutes until all energy from the circuits depleted. I think its a power management issue correlated to the hibernation possibilitys (supercapacitor) to change the battery without shutting the device down. If i remove feature control and reboot the device i can not reproduce the issue at all. Has anyone run into the same issue or not , and if so what featurecontrol settings have you enabled? Running on: Agent: 14.5.3.1017 MC: 15.3.1
I'm a little new to this so I'm sure this will be obvious to some. We have a very simple profile, disable factory reset, and disable managed app uninstall. We have a issue with one of our devices in the field and we need to remove the restriction of the disable managed app uninstall. Am I better off 1. Clone the profile, rename with the restriction removed and un-assign the first profile to the device and assign the new profile to the device? 2. In the assign part, uncheck the device. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi all, i have a general question regarding identify activity and feature control. I identified following setting: com.android.settings/.wifi.dpp.WifiDppConfiguratorActivity And i want to "blacklist" it now but it seem not to work. I think it's because the "/". Is there something different to do?
Hello, My question would seem to be kind of stupid, but i would like to have a full list of features and functions available in Soti MobiControl solution for managing Android smartphones. I searched the whole internet but i only find four to five points... Thank you in advance.. Regards
We have recently found that we are unable to factory reset any devices enrolled within our Android Enterprise enrollment if they offline within Mobicontrol and have an unknown password / passcode set. Prior to the introduction of AE we were able to get the devices password / passcode incorrect a set number of times before it initiated a factory reset of the device. We have the same configuration set within our device profiles, but after the set number of incorrect passwords / passcodes are entered its simply loops round to locking us out for say 30 seconds and then requests for the password / passcode again. Has anyone else experienced this? We've logged it with our support partner but they have advised its the agent version installed on the phones, this affects every single device we have enrolled within AE (variety of agent versions) and we can only factory reset the device IF its online within our MobiControl portal? We have "Disabled Factory" reset within the feature control for all devices, which was also present prior to AE and we also have "Maximum number of failed password attempts before device wipe" set to 8, which was also the same prior to AE. Please help guys.
I have a profile that includes a Feature-Control setting to enable Data Roaming. I have devices picking up this profile, however when I go into the Android settings I can see that roaming is still disabled. Is there another setting that needs to be changed somewhere?
I just enrolled 1 Zebra TC52 (DO) with google enterprise profile. I have created a configuration profile where I need to block camera (via feature control). The camera stills not blocked despite profile has been applied to device. Any Idea ?
