Good evening, we are running Server Version 15.1.3 We have over some iphone SE 2nd edition - iOS 14.2 We now use e sims but we have a problem with it. Before the change from Vodafone to Telekom and even with an actual physical Telekom sim card we would be able to see the telephone number in the device info. Now after the switch to e Sim we cant see the number anymore. We know the ICCID, the service provider but its somehow "annoying" to switch between systems to find the actual telephone number for a device. Is there something we can do to get back the telephone number? Kind regards
We have a managed (DEP) iPhone - on the Device Statuses under Device Details, Supervised "yes" but Activation Lock "no". Therefore, I could not "Bypass Activation Lock" before wipe. Now, the phone is asking for the "Apple ID/pwd that were used to set up this phone". Are there any ways at all to get past this Activation Lock screen? All this time I thought that we would not hit this "blockage" if an Apple device was supervised, but I guess I was wrong. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Hello everybody, we do have some iPhones for our mobile workers that a close to boarders. We would like to force active roaming for all EU devices and if possible to stop them from deactivating it. The only Option i found is to disable roaming and stop the user from activating it again. SotiServer 14.2 I tryed the search function but this seems to be more of an Android topic so far?! Thank you very much. Kind regards Mika
Does anyone know why iPhones stop communicating with SOTI? I have seen a number of devices lately, that just stop checking in. At the same time, users are reporting their device passcodes are not being accepted. Requesting a check-in from the device rarely causes them to connect to SOTI, nor does a forced restart. Not really sure why they aren't keeping their 2 hour scheduled connection. Let me know if i can provide any further information.
With DEP enabled for iOS devices (iPhones mainly), how can we enable the iOS feature of Do Not Disturb While Driving automatically? Furthermore, make it enabled and unable to change the setting? We have a fleet of drivers and want to turn this on to further cement in our driving policy of no calls while the vehicle is moving.
