Hi, my company plans to move from MobiControl Cloud 14.1 to 15.2. We have 250 Android Plus devices: Zebra TC56 running Android v6.0.1 with agent version 13.5 Samsung SM-G390F running Android v7.0 with agent version 13.5 What are the steps to make sure that the transition runs smoothly? Do we need to upgrade the devices agent too? Do we need to upgrade the devices firmware? Do we need to re-enroll the devices? I should note that we anyway plan to upgrade the devices firmware soon, but I see that as a separate project. Thanks in advance for your help and best regards Henry
Hello Guys, we have an problem with the MobiControl Cloud Link. The cloud connector is successfully installed on a host in the DMZ. But when we add the required data to a Mobicontrol cloud and start the test, it fails directly. Here's what we did: we created an windows server 2019 in the DMZ. we have set up a forwarding in the firewall to the windows server in the dmz (Port 443) In the next step, we created a official certificate for the FQDN on the windows server. (scc.hst.de) So if we connect to https://scc.hst.de it works. We installed the Cloud Connector in the first attempt directly from our Soti Cloud(later we installed a newer version from the Soti Manuell page) "But when we add the required data to a Mobicontrol cloud and start the test, it fails directly." We dont know why, needs the test connection more ports then 443? If we test the connection, it fails directly like this: And yes, we tested with this config also all Authentification Methods from the Cloud link Connector.. We also did a wireshark test, to see if anything gets through to the windows Server. And yes it did. From the Soti Cloud until the windows Server. The MS log says:[EndpointNotFoundException: There was no endpoint listening at https://scc.hst.de/cla/RDS that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. We've temporarily blocked the access(443) until we can test again.
I would like to get a list that shows which version of a specific app is installed on all/selected devices. For example I want to see how many devices have WhatsApp installed on them and which version is installed on each device. Is there a way to do this without creating a custom report? If not, then our MobiControl is on the cloud and to have this report made by Soti support requires that the company pays a fee but since this might be a one time thing it might be more feasible to design the custom report myself. However I'd need the DB details & table names on our instance of MobiControl so is this something that Soti provides or not? Using MobiControl 14.1.4.1693 with Android Plus devices.
Hi, We're using MobiControl Cloud. When trying to generate any report all we get is "Unable to generate report, please try again later.". Is it something that need to be set up for the reports to work?
