Reports not working on MC Cloud

Hi,

We're using MobiControl Cloud. When trying to generate any report all we get is "Unable to generate report, please try again later.".

Is it something that need to be set up for the reports to work?

Has this been working before and now the error has appeared?

Does this appear for all report types (pdf, excel, csv, text)?

I have seen this before on Instances I manage and sometimes a restart of the SOTI services may be required. If this is the case calling the SOTI support number for your region and describing the issue should get you the service restart if required.

It's likely that a known MS-SQL module/service (which I don't want to mention here in order not to embarrass the guy who installed the instance)  has not been properly enabled.    There is nothing you can do. Open an official support ticket with Soti support team to fix it on your cloud instance.

Hello Alex, 

What version of MobiControl do you have installed?  Since this is a cloud server any changes that need to be made on the server need to be completed by a Technician at SOTI, but this would give a little bit more insight into where the potential problem may reside.

Yes, reports were working. I did not know someone had used them.

I called support and it's ok now.
