    Soti Surf with Proxy auto-config

Hi all, We are testing Honeywell CT60 scanners with proxy auto-config settings where we specified the PAC URL and set it as DHCP. When using Chrome in lockdown we can access the whitelisted URL's and it works as expected. But when using Soti Surf it gives us a white screen and after 10 seconds a time-out. Can Soti Surf work with the proxy auto-config? Are there extra configurations we need to push? The current server version is v14.2.1.4394

    Handle Google-Apps Updates Solved

Hey Guys, I just want to know how you handle Updates of Chrome, Playservices, ... in your environment? We're using many Zebra TC20 for internal use only. We have a few Apps which only needs internal access to our Servers, so the Zebras are configured with a Proxy for internet access, just for a quick view of prices, Information etc. Unfortunately the Google-Apps don't use this Proxy (configured with Zebra MX) for updateing themselves. That means we're still using Chrome, Play, Mail, ... Versions from the Zebra OS a few Months ago. A newer OS-Update doesn't contains newer App Versions of e.g. Chrome so we're now got stuck. Is there any chance to Update all this Google-Stuff by apk or do I have to change the WIFI so the Devices get unlimited Internet-Access? for example: The Chrome Version installed within the Nougat or Oreo OS of our Devices is 69.0.x. We just want to bring out an TWA Wrapper App which needs min. Chrome 74.x. I don't know at the moment how to Update Chrome to get this working.  Many Thanks and kind regards

    Global Proxy

Hello everyone, we currently have a few Problems with our Android Devices (Samsung Galaxy Tab S2). I assume a the moment that all the Problems we have, have something to do with the proxy configuration. We use for our Internet connection a proxy pac file. On the devices the file is configured in the WLAN settings. Furthermore we use Mobicontrol as a cloud service and we currently do not have a vpn configured. The problems we have are for example that some google Services aren't working properly after a few days/weeks on some devices. After some testing with our networking team we found out that the google Service is trying to directly connect with google Servers without the use of the proxy. On the Internet I found out that android does not use the proxy config in the WLAN Settings for everything and developers can decide on their own to use it or not. My question is now: Is there a way with Mobicontrol to force the device to use a specific proxy pac file? There is a global proxy setting but the help page is not really clear with what it does. Thanks for your help

Proxy-Settings on Android for Work Device (TC20) Solved

Hey Guy's, anyone an Idea how I can set the Device Proxy (Auto PAC URL) on an Android Work Device? Unfortunately the common script command "setwifiproxy" ist not working on the TC20 anymore.... Stage Now is not an Option, cause I'm using 802.11x with Certificates delivered by Soti Certificate Template and Soti itself has no Proxy-Config within the Wifi-Profile. Hope anyone can help me or facing the same issue... Thanks
