hello,We own Zebra TC57 docker terminals connected to a wired network via charging docks. We restart them with a planned task when they are all wired to the charging dock.Following this restart, some terminals cannot connect to the mobicontrol server via the wired network whereas some can, very randomly.I tried to unplug the wired network and all my Zebra TC57 terminals so it connects using wifi.Following this, the Zebra TC57 terminals are rebooted and all of them reconnect normally but on wifi.I think there is a problem with the soti agent application or with tC57 terminals. We have noticed this problem since an update from android 8 to android 11. SOTI APK: 15.4.6.1013Soti server version: 15.6.5.1018
When we restart our Devices they connect to our apn flawlessly, but arent opening a data channel. The button "connect" in the soti agent triggers an event where a data stream to our apn is opened. The 3G/HSDPA-Icon is doing a little "connect" animation, thats how i know. As a workaround i created a profile with Out-Of-Contact policy to force the agent to connect to the ds via "connect -f" but this is unfortunately not triggering the same connect event as via the button in the agent, so the data channel to the apn / provider isnt opened. Has anyone of you experienced the same issue in the weh world or maybe has a script that does exactly what the button press "connect" in the agent does? Agent is 14.43 and Device is a CN51
Is there anyway to stop the lockdown screen exiting all apps on reconnecting to the SOTI server? Our devices (TC75) are out on the road, and the users are using an app, which when the device reconnects to the server after losing signal, lockdown closes/hides the open apps and returns the user to the lockdown home screen. This is a pain for the users. I've seen this happen while on remote control, be using the app. the device goes offline and when it reconnects I see the lockdown, and the app has to be reopened - normally remembers where the user was, but sometimes closes the app completely. Thanks for any suggestions. Gary
