Im trying to force my Android devices to auto update using the following script set with a scheduled task In the log I get the error Custom log (missing ; before statement (Auto Update OS.js#1)) My Auto Update OS.js is just writeprivateprofstring SystemUpdatePolicy SystemUpdatePolicy 1apply SystemUpdatePolicy If I open send script on a device, select JavaScript and send the same script above I get the same error. If I select legacy I get the notifications. Script was sent to device (writeprivateprofstring SystemUpdatePolicy SystemUpdatePolicy 1 apply SystemUpdatePolicy Feature is not supported (SystemUpdatePolicy) So my question is do I have to set the script to legacy somehow to make it work on a scheduled task? And is it actually supported? I have tried on Android device versions 7 and 8.1 running SOTI agent 14.4.1
Hi Support I Have been design Device Enrollment for my Clients but i have some issue i cant find out My Device : ZEBRA ET51 Android OS 9.1 Mobicontrol Server version Version: 15.0.2.1049 Mobicontrol Client version 14.2.1 Build 1083 1. I use Mobistage Setup and create XML File to use with MX Script on SOTI Mobixontrol 2. I want to use MX Script as Profile Enrollment step because of when ZEBRA ET51 have been enrolled to Mobicontrol server and got XML FILE (from Mobistage) via File Sync rules 3. I want to MXScript to execute XMl File 4. How to do mxscript as profile
Documentation of MobiControl some years ago mentioned about a 5-minute limit for execution of Android script before it will be killed to avoid potential deadlock/slow system. Is there still such a limit in v13.4+ or v14.x scripts (especially the scripts defined in "Scheduled script" profile payload introduced in MobiControl v14.3.0)? If so, is the limit still 5-minute or some other value?
Is it possible in MobiControl to enroll a script to clients, which will run as scheduled (for example: every day at 08:00 AM), even though the device is offline? I'm using FileSync with a dummy file and assign a post/pre-script, but that only applies to online devices.
