I asked for such feature some two years ago.  As far as I know, there is still no official support for such scheduled script.

Like your File Sync rule, we can leverage an existing feature to run an offline script.

By using an Out of Contact policy, we can have the device execute scripts after the device goes offline (haven't connected to the Deployment Server after a set period of time).

I have used an example below and this worked for me:

In the example above, once the device have not connected to the server for 1 minute, the script will execute. Then it will execute again a day after (only if the device has not connected back to the server during this time; if the device has connected back, you will have to wait another minute for the script to run and then 1 day again for any subsequent actions).

Unfortunately, there currently isn't a way to schedule a specific time or day for every subsequent action.

Please try the above and see if it can be applicable to your use case.

I will echo this as a feature request that I have wanted for some time. Using a file sync rule or out of contact policy are more or less workarounds and don't truly provide the feature set that we're looking for with scheduling scripts based on a timeline or a device event. 

Thanks for the suggestion. I was familiar with out-of-contact policy and have been working with it for some time. I was about to mention it here, but you beat me to it ;)

Unfortunately I need to schedule it for an exact date/time. A scheduled out-of-contact policy would also be a good addition. If device hasn't been connected for X-minutes, then repeat action at HH:MM each X-Days.

But my initial request would be to send a script to a group of devices and have it run on a scheduled basis whether the device is online or offline. This basically already works within out-of-contact policy, we just need to schedule it now.

It appears that there is already a number of requests for this feature and it is currently in progress - with the latest comments as recent as a few days ago.
Due to the number of requests, they have risen the priority of development but unfortunately they still do not have a timeline for release.

Reading through the description, it appears that there are intentions to implement scheduling for Offline Scripts as well.

If you would like, you can open a new support case and place another Feature Request so that an agent can add to the existing request. Or you can also place a new Feature Request to have scheduling expanded for Out-of-Contact policy.

In the meantime, however, you will have to continue using the current workarounds you have been using for now while the feature is being implemented for a future release.
