My intention is that, using a variable in a script, from Launch: // ... you can launch one application or another._____Example: (script in batch language)IF %ossvers% GTR 10 Set x_apk=com.android.documentsuiIF %ossvers% LSS 10 Set x_apk=com.google.android.documentsui And on the Launcher line ... I managed to find a very useful post on the forum explaining how to use datawedge autoimport functionality. It partially worked for us: the file gets copied into /enterprise/device/settings/datawedge/autoimport/ location and the profile installs (reinstalls) AFTER the reboot. I could not get it to work without rebooting the device. HOWEVER, the profile then does not scan any barcodes!!! The app we use on our guns runs fine, the scanning is recognised (it bleeps when it reads the barcode) but nothing gets populated into the field. If I use exactly the same profile file as the one located in autoimport to manually import datawedge profile, everything works just fine. This makes me think there's nothing wrong with profile file itself. But I've no idea what else could be causing this weird behavior. Any ideas?? Device used is Zebra TC20 and TC51, both running Android 8.1
Hey Guys, does anyone knows an app, intent, script command or something else to change the USB Mode in Android Nougat to PTP? Our Devices (Zebra TC20) running in an kioskmode and our Users don't have access to the Filesystem and I dont want to grant them just for copying some pictures. Unfortunately the USB-Setting for PTP by Zebra MX is not working on the TC20 Devices so I'm looking for an alternative way. I already wrote an App for some other Systemsettings to set, so feel free to send me every single Idea ;-) Thanks
Hi all, there seems to be a problem with RC (plugin downloaded from soti.net) and TC20 latest AE agent (13.6.0.1662). When AE agent is updated to the latest version, then a reboot of device the remote control stop working, in details: RC stay in "waiting screen". It does not matter the version of Android (Nougat or Oreo), the problem it's with the AE agent. In a Zebra TC51, same plugin, same agent version, same enrolment type works fine. Has anyone had the same problem? Thank you, Filippo
