bad read notification for a wrong scan barcode

Hi,

We need to implement bad read notification when a wrong barcode is scanned, so I used the notification section in DataCollectionService.xml (see picture) to configure this but the sounds still the same for good read notification or bad read notification. I'm wodering if there are missing configurations that need to be checked?

Device: CK65

OS : Android 10 and above

OEM : 90.00.21-(0278) and above

How would the device know what is a "wrong barcode"? The business application that you're scanning into would have to make that distinction after processing the data and it would have to drive the playback of a distinct error audio sound. The scan engine itself on the device otherwise has no context to know what is a wrong or right barcode.

With identical application and configuration settings, the CK75 operates as expected

Hi, what's the exact OS(OEM) version on the CK65 and CK75? Did you try the same (or as similar as possible version) on both if it realy behaves differently per model?
