Some of Your Latest Renewed UI Designw for this Soti Discussion Forum are Nonsense !!

Since the initial launch of Soti Discussion forum some 3 years ago, newest posts are always ordered in chronological order in the main pane, allowing anyone to check the latest posts easily with virtually no effort.

It is a misfortune the UI has been redesigned such that the posts are based on the initial date of the discussion thread rather.  Any number of followed up posts will be hidden under the thread.    Hence, a follow-up post sent today on a thread started 2 years ago will be hidden under the discussion thread entry hundreds of row down.  Who on earth has the time to go down to each past disccussion thread to see if there is/are any follow-up post(s)?

None of the ten Soti Moderators responds to my brought-up concern posted twice in the last two plus weeks.  Should I mail directly to the CEO to tell him about this nonsense UI design and inaction of his staff?

The second nonsense UI design is as follows:

I intentionally made some typos in the title and description of this discussion topic/thread.  I now then try to select the "edit" entry in the menu to fix the typos.  Guess what I get.  I am told I don't have the access right to correct my own content possibly because it is a discussion topic, while answers can be edited/corrected any number of times.    Isn't it ridiculous?

Who made such design and where are the software quality assurance team?

Yeah, this seem a general problem. I have case open at Soti because i faced the exactly same issue.

Even as the new discussion UI has gone live, i wasn't able to login anymore and Soti needed 6 months to solve that...

A third problem is about the prolonged and worsensing SEARCH function.

The search quality based on keyword(s)  has been under par for some time and reported more than once.  Little improvements have been made  Your latest UI design, unfortunately seem to have the the search function totally removed.   Categorizing posts/discussions based on Soti products in pre-defined tabs is too broad a filtering mechanism to be useful.  The automatically shown "simliar disccusions" items had even poorer relevance than the keyword search function results 2 years ago.

If the search algorithm is really so hard or time-consuming to be improved, shouldn't the moderators go through each discussion thread and append sufficient accurate tags to make the search results more useful and efficient for all users of this discussion forum?

i think the worst thing is that you can't open the search results in a new tab. If you then go back in the browser, you have to search again to find out which threads you have already read.

That you cant open forum entrys in a new tab is by far the most annoying thing in the world ever!

This is an update to other users of this forum.

As there is no response from any of Soti moderator of this forum,  I have already emailed and communicated with Soti CEO and exachanged ideas for a few times so far..   Hope there will be some improvements in the not too far future.
