We are using Mobicontrol to limit the iPhone to a few apps. Unfortunately we have found that whilst doing this the linked Apple watch stops working and hangs on the Apple logo.
We have whitelisted the watch app and have allowed pairing the watch in feature control. Is there anything else we should look out for?

Can you advise what exactly you're doing to lock down your iPhone to a few apps, what profile configurations are used etc?
Secondly, is the device supervised?

We have an Activity Run Control configuration that only whitelists the Watch app, Health, and a couple of 3rd party apps that are not related to the watch.
We also have a feature control configuration that has disabled as much as possible that wont be needed for these devices.
The devices are supervised.
