Enabling Developer Options and disabling wifi scan throttling via script

I am trying to find a way to:

1) Enable Developer Options/Mode

2) Disable Wifi Scan Throttling

with android scripting but not having any luck.

One of the locations I manage, seems to be having issues with wifi dropping but only with the Samsung Tab A8.  The android phones we have on the same network do not have the issue.  One of the onsite techs disabled wifi scan throttling and it seems to have had a positive result.  If I can avoid having them touch every device to change this and instead can push it out with soti it would help a lot

What is the Android Security Patch level of the affected devices? Is it different than the other devices? I have seen some similar WiFi connectivity issues that were introduced by the October 2023 Security Patch Level that was then corrected in the December 2023 Security Patch. Meaning devices on October or November 2023 Security patch may have issues connecting to and staying connected to certain wireless networks. If you find your devices are on one of those patch levels a firmware update to a higher patch level may be an alternate solution.

The latest does appear to only be up to October 2023 which I believe to be the affected. Do you have any devices on patch levels outside of this range that are working correctly to confirm this theory?

Hi Patrick,

As per the your discussion  with Matt and the links attached I took a look into the same and upon my investigation on doc.samsungmobile release notes for the X200 the android secirity patch that we were looking for has been released on 19/3/2024 which covers the Security patch level : 2023-12-01

I would suggest please take a look into the same and upgrade the devices to the latest security patch level.
