Device Manager Android Uninstalling Apps

Recently I started moving from iOS devices to Android for retail handheld mobile computers and enrolled them into Device Manager. Starting August 1st with the latest update of Device Manager that Meraki released I have had all of my apps continuously install and uninstall. I submitted a case with them and the most I have gotten is that it is a known bug and that there is no timeline for a fix, this has been 2 months now. I think it is important to call out Cisco for their extremely poor development practices with Android, I found this "bug" within an hour of Device Manager updating, there is no way that Cisco tested this app before releasing it. I am heavily considering moving to SOTI MobiControl. Has anyone else had any similar experiences with Meraki MDM?

You're likely to get a biased answer asking members of this forum but from my perspective SOTI MobiControl is heads and shoulders above Meraki, and most EMM providers for that matter, for fully managing dedicated (business owned) Android devices under both Device Administrator and Android Enterprise Device Owner. This holds even more if you are using dedicated Zebra or Samsung devices as there are considerably more OEM specific value adds offered through MobiControl for those manufacturers.

From my experience the client environments that I've interacted with have been happy with how well Meraki manages their wireless access points and are fooled into thinking it offers the same level of control over other endpoints like Android devices. As you have now found out from your own personal experience, this is most certainly not the case.
