How to force Android App to update

Hi, New to Mobi Control so maybe asking silly question

We have 60+ Android devices which have Mobi control on them. The apps installed are all configured with Install Updates automatically, yet we have a couple of applications that have not updated to the latest version.

Is there anyway which we can force these applications to update to the latest version.

I have looked through this forum and the best answer I can see is to create another package and apply to a profile, But this seems silly as nothing will be modified in the package.

TIA

Hello Craig,

i'm not an expert but normally you need open your initial package.

Delete last apk and add the new apk

Update the version tag, build package

Edit the profile who installs the initial version of the app

Add this new package to the profile

Now, you can choose the package you want to install.

Normally, you can see and (I) on the tab package if you click on it you can change the version.

Select the version you want to apply and assign the profile.

If that's doesn't work, click on device (right click) and see the log file -> action -> view log file

hope this help
