Simple request, is there a way to restrict access to apps via their bundle identifier?  I could swear I used this before, but it may have been in a different MDM...

The iOS  Application Run Control payload was added from v14.1.2 onwards, according to the release note found at https://docs.soti.net/soti-mobicontrol/release-notes/v141/1412/

This has always been supported in MobiControl ever since Apple iintroduced such MDM policies for its iOS9.3+ supervised devices.

For MobiControl v13 and earlier, administrator needs to include the bundle-ID of the apps to be whitelisted/blacklisted according to predefined format/structure in an XML file  to be imported to a "custom profile" in the iOS profile tab in the web-console.

For MobiControl v14.1 onwards,  an "Application Run Control"  payload can be used in the iOS profile tab instead,

Thanks Raymond.  I don't see any options for Application Run Control on the cloud based web-console.  Does this mean I need to use the custom profile approach?

Should be.   Or you can request Soti support to upgrade your cloud instance to the latest v14.1.5.  However, we need to consider compatibility and stability of this new server version for your other enrolled devices, and many possible side-effects for performing an upgrade.

What is the MobiControl server version reported from your web console?

Cheers mate.  Just spoke to support, need to upgrade the account.  Account was only created this morning, seems a little strange that it doesn't come with the latest version.
