Hi @Remy
You can enable the Recents button on the lockdown screen to remove the Surf app from there.
Alternatively, you may also use the following script to stop the application directly:
Please give this a try and let me know if it resolves your concern
Hi @Remy,
Unfortunately, this may not work with activity suppression since the Recents button is not available in that mode.
A better approach would be to:
Add a shortcut icon for killing the Surf app, or
Use the native lockdown option, which provides the Recents button and will allow more flexibility.
Hi @AMMOD@SOTI,
haven’t you considered implementing in the SURF configuration payload the option to have an EXIT button if desired?
Hi @Remy,
Apologies if I caused any confusion earlier.
Normally, as with most applications, you can exit the Surf app using the Back button.
However, we have observed that on certain OEM models, the Back button does not work as expected in lockdown mode.
In those specific cases, you can follow the steps I shared previously to exit Surf successfully.
Hi @AMMOD@SOTI,
I'm not sure how to take this answer...maybe investigate the underlying cause further?...
