Hi, Do i need to enable anything to fetch telecom data from handsets. When I run the report on 50+ devices with 4G sim cards, I get no data back? The handsets are a mix of Panasonic FZ-N1,FZ-L1 and FZ-S1

Hello Mike
Greetings for the day !!
Thanks for requesting an answer from Soti !!
As there are two telecom reports are available in Soti under android plus section so not sure which one your are pulling but If you are trying to grab report for telecom data usage then you can check if our device has data usage access permission enabled for Mobicontrol which you usually can be provided during enrollment on Mobicontrol 15 series onwards
But you can also check manually by going to Settings -> Apps & notifications -> Special app access -> Usage access. The path may vary from device to device and Enable toggle for Mobicontrol . You can also make sure Telecom Expense Management(TEM) rule under Android plus tab (inside rule section), assign to test device before pulling report.
Secondly if you are trying to grab report for Telecom call log so kindly make sure you must have set up data collection rule for call log available under android plus tab in rule section before generating report.
Regards
Have you granted "Data Usage" app permission for your MobiControl device agents?
Hi Raymond, we added all the permissions requested when Mobicontrol installed. I've had a look through the allowed and I can't see Data Usage as one of the options.
We have Call logs,Camera, Contacts, Location, Storage, Telephone allowed and Microphone denied.
Do I need to do something to add Data Usage or is it a limitation of the agent on the device?
Depending on your Android firmware version, there might be some minor variations in the UI layout. In most cases, in the "Apps" manager tab of Settings, tapping the three-dot button near the top right corner gives a menu with "Special access" item, which leads to the choice "Usage data access" permission tab.
Hi, I have added a TEM rule and it works perfectly. Thank you both for your help.
