Most Android devices have an option to free up storage space by deleting unnecessary data, such as cached, residual and adverstaiment files.
Is there any way to achieve this through a Mobicontrol configuration or script?

Currently we don't have any profile or rule configurations you can use to free up space on MobiControl but we do have a few scripts you can use to delete specific files or folders from your devices.
To remove files you can use the following script:
del <filename> -> del example.txt
If you use del *.tmp you can also remove all the files with a .tmp extension from the current directory on the device
To remove an entire folder and all of its content you can use the following script:
rmdir [/S] path -> rmdir /S /mnt/sdcard/test
