Hi,
We're managing Dual sims in the simcard settings manager on the phone.
However i was wondering if this is also possible via sending a script to the device.
It happens that our end users need to take out sim 2 and switch to a different phone for the evening.
Upon inserting the simcard again, we have to manually go back to the simcard settings manager to setup sim 2 for only calls.
It would make it efficienter if this could be done with a script sending to the device.
What manufacturer? Zebra offers multi SIM slot control through their MX configurations which can be processed via SOTI scripting.
And if it's not Zebra device you may take a look into the manufacturers oem config app (if available) if they provide such setting.

As far as I know, there is currently no such script command.
Some related control may be available in OEMConfig app specific to the device brand/series targeted. However, even with that, it will be hard to implement re-configuration based on your use-case (the event of SIM2 taken out and switched to different phone in the evening).
