Application catalog integration play store force install app

If we create a rule in the application catalog. The user will see the application on the android device in the list of available, but must install it by click on the app.

I can not find an option like force install. Is there any way to force the application to install without user action?

Thx

How are they being managed? Device Owner (Managed Device) mode or Profile Owner (Work Profile)? You should be able to change the app catalog rule apps from Suggested to Mandatory and they will be installed automatically. That may only work under Device Owner mode, although I'm not entirely sure, it might work under both. With that said, you can't really FORCE the Play Store to install the app from my experience, you just have to kind of wait for it to do its thing. A very different experience than just installing an app directly from a SOTI package, which happens as soon as you schedule it.

If you are using Android Plus device agent, and you don't have the app apk, then making a package is not an option, and  a normal (i.e. "Non-Managed") Google Play store app defined in app-catalog rule can only be installed after the device end-user initiate it from the device's app-catalog.

As mentioned by Matt, for device using Android-Enterprise device agent, apps from corresponding "Managed" Google Play store and defined in your app-catalog rule can be configured to be pushed silently onto your device if the app is marked as mandatory in the rule.

Thanks for the replies.

I found the android for enterprise agent and will take a test run with it. ->test done,  is not compatible with the wt6000 device .....

There are also plugins available. But unfortunately not for the WT6000 devices.

The WT6000 only has Lollipop and Nougat Non-GMS (AOSP) OS versions available for it. I do not expect we will ever see a GMS variant of an OS for that device model, and therefore no Play Store either.
