What are the Active MDM API's reported in the Configuration tab of your device agent?

Are the apps from app store or do you have the official apk?

Did you include your apps in pcg package, in app-catalog rule(s), or something else?  

If you're using Android Enterprise for management of the devices then the only way for the apps to be installed automatically via an App Catalog rule is if they are set to Mandatory AND you're enrolled with Device Owner (DO) as a Work Managed device. I don't believe you can force apps to install to a Work Profile, but I also have less experience with the BYOD use case.

If these are enterprise /private LoB applications then I would suggest using a Package to install the APKs directly to the devices from SOTI as that will happen automatically without having to go through Managed Google Play. That would require AEDO or DA (Android+) based management however. 

In short, you're going to be limited by what you can do if you're using Work Profile instead of AEDO or DA. 

The active API's are (Symbol MDM 4 (QCT_60_6.7). RC+(1.15.3.109)

So, you are using App Catalog rule and targeting an Android+ device agent.  App deployment for this combination is non-silent-push by design.  I am afraid there is no solution to avoid requiring interaction from the device end-user.

Instead of using the Application Catalog you could create a .pcg package to install the app as you can set any apk to install silently within a package.
