API sendscript (Javascript)

Solved

Hi all,

is there someone who can tell me if or how it's possible to sende javascript via the "sendscript" api call?

Legacy script is working fine but i have a javascript which would be nice to do via api and scfript instead of the console.

Ok, found it now myself, there's an parameter available named "ScriptType" which does the trick.

@Soti, may i request fully API documentation regarding possible parameters for example the "/devices/{deviceId}/actions" Part (and maybe others too)?

It's really bad doing trial and error.

Joking?

"All the information is available on the following page"

Now go through the information you posted above (how do you think I'm working with the api when not looking into these information?) and tell me where the information about the additional needed parameters are shown?

In my case "ScriptType" for the "Sendscript" Action... there's nothing or I must be blind!

And the information "some actions may need additional parameters" is not really helpfull when not telling how they are called.

Thanks a lot, i searched for the headline and now saw that this information is on the bottom of the site -.-
Haven't taken a look there and there's no hint or link to this (would be nice then).

So sorry @KCMOD but in general it would be nice to one of following:

1. Put information where they are needed and not somewhere else.

2. Or link (or give a hint) to the relevant information.
