Anyone been able to get Samsung A14 devices enrolled with Remote Control working?

Hey All, I have tried to enroll Several Samsung A14's because our verizon rep said they cannot sell A13's anymore. When you try to download the mobi control OEM Specific plugin for samsung it says it is not compatible with this device. So I created an enterprise enrollment policy and enrolled it with the AFW#mobicontrol and our enrollment ID. Which does enroll it as a work managed device. However, it does not prompt for knox activation and the MDM API listed is not samsung knox and only shows Remote view. The Release notes show that Enterprise and Classic android are supported for android 13. Is the A14 simply not supported yet?

Have you checked if there is any KNOX related libraries listed in the device's Settings->About->Software Versions.  As far as I know, Samsung intentionally left out Knox libraries for many low-end devices in A0x & A1x, etc series manufactured in Vietnam.

The Device does show in setting Samsung Knox Services. As well, in about it shows samsung knox listed under software information. I have read the same thing in several other posts here, but have not found any device that does not support it. We have used a13 and a12 with no issue. I am not sure what to do with these devices.

If you can see Knox versions in device's Settings ->About Device->Software versions and KNOX MDM API version(s) in the active MDM API listed in the device-agent's configuration tab/web-console device information tab, then make sure

1.  Samsung ELM license has been granted.  You can initiate it with the script commands:

   reset_elm_license
   restartagent

2. (the agent can detect the "RC" API by running the script commands:

    retryrcdetection
    restartagent

Hi Cody,

Thank you for posting on SOTI Pulse and thanks to Raymond and Michael for responding to the post.

Samsung A14 is not an Android Enterprise-recommended device by Google. It is not certified in SOTI Certification Portal and it is not Knox supported device as well.

I would suggest using SOTI Generic plugin from the SOTI website for the device and test.

Please find some useful links below.

Thank you.
