I was wondering if there is a way to Automatically install the Device Plugin (if one is available in database) on a newly enrolled Android Enterprise device. Instead of clicking the "Install Device Plugin" action button.
I presume by creating a package with a downloaded Plugin. (Or a filesync rule.)
What I hope to find is a script command.

New features related to AE plug-in management are still evolving in the various latest MobiControl v14.4.x patches, and I'm still testing them out to see if a fully automatic installation/upgrade flow can be made seamlessly.
However, until that is made perfect, you can still do things manually to achieve what you want. Just "manually" download the plug-in .pcg package, have it added as a package, and then deploy the plug-in package preferably in a separate profile. The plug-in should be silently pushed and installed on the targeted device. No script is needed. If there is a newer plug-in, have the new package installed and update the existing profile to deploy the update plug-in version instead.

Have you had any luck with the automatic installation workflow in later versions? We are finding that even though we have ticked the "install latest plugin" in the add device rule this still does not happen, which forces us to do this manually for all new devices which we don't want to. So I was also looking for a script command to trigger the "install plugin" command in MobiControl, but does one not exist?
