SOTI Agent permission fix?

When will be there an update to the SOTI Agent to solve following problem (Android 8 and maybe above):

Granted, this assumes that writesecuresetting is even working on your Android 8 Zebra devices which has been somewhat of a crapshoot recently. The SOTI Agent needs to have the permission granted in order to have the ability to apply secure settings. That permission is seemingly granted by the installation of the OEM Plugin which from experience seems to be inconsistent in doing so. SOTI staff has indicated that version 1.16 of the plugin is needed in order to truly resolve the issue of having that permission silently granted but as of now only version 1.6 is hosted on the downloads page and 1.12 is hosted within the Plugin Service of newer MobiControl instances. 

We need that fix, for a zero-touch rollout.

We're still patiently waiting Rafael. I would prepare to document how to manually accept the prompt for the time being...

We know how, but the devices are enrolled in the shops and the manual accepting of the prompt has to be done remote by an admin. So this is massive manual work to be done on each rollout-day.

May I ask on what we're waiting for? 

I think this is a mandatory fault for a remote software, and I'm wondering it takes so long to be fixed by SOTI.

And when i say "so long" i don't mean the time since we have this problem. I bet it has been there much time before.

I have to say "Sorry!" :(

I forgot this thread. We switched to another Soti Instance with new configuration and plugins etc. which solved that. There we don't have any of this problems.

I think it was a combination of new plugin for the zebra and the new agent version of mobicontrol.

Plugin version 1.16.0 is not posted for Android Enterprise for Zebra "Hawkeye", only version 1.6.
