Error while using learning plattform (LMS) in kiosk mode

We use an internal learning platform based on an LMS. When using it via a browser (even on a regular work phone), the videos work perfectly. 
When trying to watch the videos on a SOTI phone (with kiosk mode), the following error message appears:



We've already checked all possible settings but haven't found anything. Does anyone have any ideas?

If there is no problem when using the same device with lockdown menu temporarily turned off, then it is likely that one or more software module(s) called is/are blocked from being run by the lockdown policy.  If so, the bundle-ID/activity name of such module(s) have to be found ,and then whitelisted before it can be run smoothly when the lockdown menu is active.

Try using Soti Surf to open the URL instead of opening it directly in the lockdowm.

You may need to add apps as a hidden lockdown like video playing app, chrome or so.

As suggested by Rafael Schäfer kindly add video playing app or web browser like google chrome or SOTI SURF in the lockdown settings to play the video. Kindly try this method and let us know the outcome.

We installed both Chrome and VLC on the devices. The message persists.

While the device is viewing the popup, can an administrator run in MobiControl the identify_activity script and check in the logs for the outcome as to what activity is occurring while the popup is in view. This activity should be added to the lockdown to allow the activity to continue while the lockdown is active.
