MobiControl Stage Client for Samsung not connecting using Android 7

Hello,

we discovered a problem when trying to enroll Android 7 Samsung devices with MobiControl Stage Client from the GooglePlayStore.

The enrollment process never gets over the first step (Connecting to server).

The error sounds like follows (translated from german): "No registration. Try again or contact the administrator."

When using devices with Android 6 or lower we are not experiencing any problems and the device enrolls correctly.

Any ideas? Thank you!

Due to the nature of this question, we strongly recommend that you log a case. This way you have a dedicated resource to assist you in troubleshooting the failure.

What permissions are granted to the Agent? Maybe it isn't properly prompting for the necessary permissions based on the API target and therefore they may need to be manually granted in Settings. You can determine what permissions have been granted by looking at the App info under Settings->Apps->MobiControl.
