Not showing the settings app

Is there a way to make the settings app invisible? The device gets stuck in a boot loop via an Application Run Controll and I don't want to set up a lockdown because we then have problems with company apps.

Unfortunately, the function control does not work either. Users can also reset the device in user mode or change settings that I have deactivated via this.

There's no way as far as i know but...

You can disable functions via oem config app from the manufacturer of your devices maybe.

You can disable functions via profile (Feature Control).

You can use kiosk mode and tell us which problems occur and we maybe can help you getting those solved.

The disable with the Feature Control dosen´t work. The user can do all what he want in the settings.

How i can use the OEM config app?

Download and configure it but let's start first by asking you which manufacturer you have?

That feature Control doesn't work, sounds weird to me. Here's all fine, even no matter if A8 - A12.

There is one problem. The devices are not installed with a PlayStore, so i can´t install it on this way.

Then there are 2 ways:

1. Install the apk on a device with playstore and extract apk, so you can use it (not recommended).
2. Ask Honeywell to provide you the apk file.

With the apk file, you can provide this as enterprise app policy where you also can then change the managed app configuration.

Please provide more details:

What is your device brand and model?  What are the Android version and build of the device firmware?

What are the version and build numbers of your device agent and MobiControl server?

What are the active MDM API's reported in the configuration tab of the device agent or in the web-console?

Hi Raymond,

the devices are Honeywell CN80 with Android 11 and buildnumber 91.00.08-(0076).

On the Soti server is version 15.6.1 installed and for the Agent we have 15.3.0.1006.

I hope you mean this in the screenshoot?
