Hi Noel,
I don't believe you can set it to wipe automatically when the app is closed, but you can most definitely do it at a set time interval!
You can do this using a task scheduler profile and the clearappcache script (clearappcache [BundleID]):

Based on the screenshot above, this will wipe the app cache for Google Maps every two hours, but you can set it to whatever interval you like!
Thanks,
Bradley
May i ask for the reason?
I have a feeling you might more likely looking for shared device mode where you can clean apps when logging out for example.
Thank you both for your replies and input. The Task Scheduler looks like it could work in this instance but am not sure when the devices are being used and don't want to clear the app while someone is using it. A schedule option to run the script on an app level instead of device level would be ideal.
To answer your question, Rafael, the devices where the app resides are shared devices but a user does not have to log into the device to access the apps as the apps are assigned to a MobiControl profile and lockscreen. The app that we are concerned about is the Workday app that is installed on the devices through a managed Google Play store. The app gives you the option to remember the device after a user logs in with their credentials and we have had users select this option which saves their login information.
Is this for clocking in and out with workday? If so, I'd setup the workday time kiosk app instead. If not, I'd be shifting the devices into a shared device configuration where users can login to the tablet, you can control the sessions with inactivity timeouts, then the application data is cleared on logout.
Thank you for your recommendations and assistance. The users use the Workday app mainly for completing training assignments that are assigned to their Workday account. We are going to remove the app all together from the devices and have the users access Workday through the website for our tenant using Soti Surf where we can better control cached data.
