SOTI Mobicontrol v15.5.1.1010 can be run on windows 2022 ?

Hell all,

We have soti mobicontrol on version v15.5.1.1010 with a server who run windows 2016.

The IT infrastructure wants to migrate the server to windows 2022.

Someone can tell me, if Mobicontrol will continue to run with a windows server 2022 ?

Based on online documentation for MobiContol of MobiControl v15.5.x at

using MS Windows Server 2022 as its host is NOT officially supported.

Windows Server 2022 is OFFICIALLY supported from MobiControl v15.6 onwards (see

https://www.soti.net/mc/help/v15.6/en/setup/installing/system_requirements.html

.  So, you can consider upgrading first to MobiControl v15.6.x before migrating to a host running MS Windows Server 2022.  However, please take all necessary steps to assess risk(s) of MobiControl version upgrade, and plan/excute the upgrade process properly and backup/fallback plans.  If you have no previous experience with MobiControl upgrade/migration, please consult Soti support team to see if they can provide any advice.

Hello,

thanks for your response. 

Yes off course we will make backUp system and db, and the team who manage the servers will do a snapshot a the machine for to work on it  ..
