Is there any updates on this topic ?

Hello Mitch,

Sorry for the delay in response.

After receiving word from our Product Managers, we are able to advise that Windows Server 2019 is not currently on our roadmap for v14.x.  However, that being the case, it is being discussed for later versions of MobiControl v15.x in 2021.

If you don't mind us asking is there any particular use case that we should be considering, that may help us reprioritize the upgraded server version for MobiControl installations?

If not, feel free to reach out to the Technical Support Department to find out more about V15 and familiarize yourself with our latest version of MobiControl until the server is officially supported.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

LB

Based on the official release note for the latest Soti MobiControl v15.3.0 build 6711 recently released,  Windows Server 2019 is officially supported.

There are lots of new features and big changes in this release.  So, anyone considering upgrading their existing MobiControl implementation to this new version should do thorough tests before actually messing with their production server.

I personally haven't started testing this release myself.  Based on my previous experience, I believe my own tests would likely take at least 8 weeks.   This post is just meant as an information update.  I am not from Soti, and I am not personally endorsing, recommending or encouraging anyone to upgrade to this version.
