Hello ! I encountered an error while installing the MobiControl v15.6.0 software that I want to configure on a local network. Indeed, the error "Catastrophic upgrade failure; please restore to a previous version of MobiContro" appeared. Itwaswritten "DAC Message: Message SQL0: The DAC history table will not be updated." at the same time on the installer. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Heywe had an older version 14.x running and now we like to create a new VM with Soti 15.4 So no Update of the old version, it will be a clean new setup. Now I running into the issue, that the setup needs Open Java 11.So i followed that instructions:Using MobiControl with OpenJDK instead of Java (soti.net) But that does not help. Still not able to run the setup and get the message, that JAVA 11 is needed I used the Files OpenJava Files version 11.02 for Windows, like on the article.....
Hello, I am testing v15.3 before deploying it in our environment. It appears that the ability to download the mcsetup.ini file no longer exists for Android devices. Any ideas? Installation Server: On Premise, Non-Internet Facing (outbound to Internet allowed, Not visible from Internet) Version: v15.3.0.6713 Device: Zebra TC77 OS: Oreo (8.1) Management Model: Android Enterprise Provisioning Method: Zebra StageNow - APK installation How do I get the McSetup.ini file to use for this installation. Our current version provides an option to download the INI file as part of setting up the Add Device Rule. This option appears to no longer be available. Thanks Jim
Hello All, i run in trouble to start the installation of security patches from Zebra. I transfer the file (via filetransfer ;in this case ATLAS_DELTA_UPDATE_02-32-04.00-OG-U10-STD.zip). The file is stored in %SDCARD%. I crate a package with script. But i was not able to run the file via script. Can you help me with the right script / procedure? Thank you

Is there any possibility to give this permission automatically during the installation? The notification about this is only short time visible and the operator often not see them. Good morning everyone, I´ve got a question about device Deployment without Internet access. We are new in the SoTi environment and installed v15.2 last week to use it for remote support our Warehouse WiFi devices.Our devices are from Zebra (TC7x) and Samsung Tablets (testing with Galaxy Tab A 10.1).The firewall IPs are configured on the firewall like in the manualhttps://www.soti.net/mc/help/v15.2/en/setup/installing/soti_services.html and a "Global Proxy" is configured in Soti Global Settings. The server itself is running fine and has internet acccess without any problems. The Problem is: We want to deploy the Samsung Tablets in a firewall isolated WiFi without internet access, but access to the SoTi Server. When we try to scan this QR code while pressing 3x times the welcome screen on an factory reset device and scan the QR code, it´s stay in "Getting ready for work setup..." and I can see really many connections to the internet which are blocked by the firewall but none to the internal sources.I think this are connections to google play store or anything else.I don´t understand why, because I dep the apk-file locally and also use are proxy which isn´t also working (can´t see any connections to the proxy). I´m sure that we aren´t the only company that want to use Soti on isolated devices/WiFi. The Questions: Is such a scenario working with SoTi?If "Yes", how? What could be your error? Hi! We have started seeing some problems with scheduling a package installation with the functionality of Package Install Date. If we for example assign a profile to install the package at a given time nothing will install on the majority of devices, we can remote control the devices, do checkins, but no installation. Until we do a restart of the agent. Then the installation goes through. Are there anyone else that have experienced the same?
We have devices where we want to install a lot of profiles. My problem is, that the lockdown is installed before the other profile installations are finished. So the user cannot finish the other actions at the device, because it is in the lockdown mode. I hope u can understand my problem. Can i prioritize the sequence of the installation on the device, for example: First --> Authentification Second --> AppInstall Third --> Lockdown Thanks for your help!
Hi there, we are using an Enterprise Profile with Google Managed Account. So far its working well we can add apps to app catalog and they appear in the app catalog on the smartphone. My expectation was that they will be automatically downloaded and installed when i mark them as "Mandatory" but they aren't. Is there a way to do this automatically? We are using Kioskmode too, so they are not able to get to the application catalog without an administrator.
How do I prevent the installation of a cab file (bundled from package studio) from prompting the user to choose where to install the application to? It gives the user 3 choices to install to \Device, \Cache Disk and \Application. I would like to have it always install to \Application. How would I accomplish this? Instalation status is "uninstalled" even if app is installed on devices and devices has already check-in many times. We were wating for 2,3days but it is still "uninstalled". How can I reflect device's actual installation status?

Hello, is there any possible way to enroll fully managed android enterprise devices without having the device connect to google services? We do not want to give Networks / Devices direct access to Google-Services, maybe Stagingcradles with Ethernet are possible but the best Solution for us at the moment would be direct enrollment through our on premise mobicontrol server or a dedicated mobicontrol service. And are there options next to the token identifier afw#mobicontrol to install the agent as fully managed except for nfc/barcode etc.?
After we enrolled the device, App Catalog is installed on the device successfully. We have some apps that we distribute via vpp account. Everything was working fine but now It doesn't install the app. When we click install button in app catalog(Web clip that list apps to be installed), Soti give the message of cant be installed contact to the administrator. When ı try to refresh vpp account it says I have just downloaded the vpp token and uploaded it Any help will be very useful Thanks
