SOTI package version and firmware update

Hi everyone :)

I have a question about my Zebra TC52 with Android 8.1 at the moment.

When I created the packages with MC Studio, the Android max version was Android 10.
Now I'd like to upgrade those TC52 to Android 11.

I tried with one TC52 and it seems working even with those old packages, but will I have some issues ? What should I do, create new packages ?

Thank you !

As far as I'm aware the Android version number in Package Builder is an unused feature. Newer Android versions should install Packages built with lower OS versions in Package Builder from my experience.

Maybe you should use a newer version of MC Studio, there you can choose up to 20 (the version i have currently) if this would make you feel better ;)

And i think it's most likely an information for those who use the package, so they know that this package was build for but not sure if that's true or if it was planned different as Matt already wrote.
