Though there are policies with option related to "charging status" in recent v14 releases, there seems  to be no explicit collection of data for such status nor any built-in report to do what is required.   Until that is introduced in future release, one possible workaround with current server implementation is to build/find a third-party app that can regularly get the charging status and have this "custom data" written to predefined XMI/INI file for use by MobiControl data-collection rule.  I think there is report to list out the collected custom data.

That sounds like a great usecase for the ever invasive SOTI Insight which should hopefully, finally, be launched at SOTI Sync this year.
