I notice when connecting to remote control our Android devices, the battery temperature is noted. I am wondering if there is a script or custom data method to record the device temperature at a regular basis?
We have some devices in the field that are possibly overheating so we would love to track the progress of this.

Battery temperature is not a built-in data entity option to be collected.
You need a third-party app to get the battery temperature, and output the captured data to an xml/ini file for a Moibcontrol data-collection rule to get such custom data to your server.
