Volume of scanner beep is inconsistent throughout our scanners. Some have a beep, some don't, and others vibrate. How do I turn up the volume of the scanner when it beeps when scanning a barcode and keep it there? Is there a setting or script? Using MC93 Android scanners with lockdown restrictions.

I don't have any Zebra MC93 Scanner to do any actual tests, but according to Zebra offical online documentations such as https://techdocs.zebra.com/mx/, there might be additional ways to configure via either Zebra MX command (e.g. in Audio/Audio UI Managers) through MobiControl mxconfig, or via Zebra OEMConfig apps (https://play.google.com/work/apps/details?id=com.zebra.oemconfig.release or https://play.google.com/work/apps/details?id=com.zebra.oemconfig.common) depending on your device firmware version.
You can use Zebra MX to configure the minimum and maximum volume levels for the different audio channels. It is a little complex to implement but is technically possible. If you want to set a specific volume and not allow the user to change it you can set the minimum and maximum volume levels to the same level.

Zebra MX can be applied by SOTI either via OEMConfig or as XML files processed with the mxconfig script.
