Thanks
Amine
Hey Amine,
While I'm sure that a lot of us on this forum could actually help you figure this out based on experience with similar equipment and software, I don't think the question is necessarily pertinent to SOTI. You may want to also open a case with Honeywell or whoever offers the TermRelay software. I am unfamiliar with that offering myself as Wavelink/Ivanti & StayLinked are the big players in the TE space.
Hi Amine,
Thank you for requesting an answer from Support Staff.
It seems your program is having its connection cut due to the inbuilt Battery Optimization within the Android OS. I suggest you look into Honeywell's Enterprise Provisioner and perhaps there's a way to disable this function for your TermRelay app. Or alternatively, ask the Developer of the app to mitigate / suggest workarounds to the current problem.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Apart from looking into the power-saving options on your device firmware/Settings or in the TR app itself, if your Mobicontrol server is recent enough to have support for Android scheduled script profile, maybe you can check with TR support team if there is any way Mobiontrol script (e.g. via Android intent, restarting the app, etc) can be used to wake the TR app or its connection at regular interval shorter than 30-min.
