If you allow Account Creation, the user is allowed to add various (private) accounts.
This includes
- Google Play
- MS Office (incl. Outlook or One Drive)
- other mail accounts on other mail clients
- ...
Thanks for your reply.
So if I allow "ALL" accounts and the user creates a Google Account which enables access to Google Play this will allow them to install their own Apps?
Which if correct would defeat the object of the business having a managed list of Apps.
If I allow "All Accounts except Google Account" then this will prevent free access to Google Play but will allow them to create a Samsung account on a Samsung device, this will allow them to access the Samsung Fitness App and connect a Samsung Smart Watch etc...
Does this all sound correct?
Things may not be too bad if adding personal Google Play account has to be allowed for special reasons. For example, Application-Run-Control whitelist(s) can be added to allow only corporate approved apps, so that unapproved apps installed with personal Google-Play account will only consume storage space in device's non-volatile memory but are not launchable by device end-users.
