I would like to clarify that there is a default 3-minute time limit imposed on both screen recordings and screen + audio recordings. Additionally, screen recordings are executed on the server, whereas screen + audio recordings take place on the agent. Once the screen + audio recording concludes, the video is transmitted from the agent to the server. Furthermore, a default size limit of 15 MB is set for screen + audio recordings, and there is a cap of 3 concurrent screen recordings.

It is worth noting that these default settings can be adjusted in the im_SettingsGlobal table. If you have access to the Xsight database, named "SOTI_Xsight_im," you can modify the values in the "im_SettingsGlobal" table, specifically the "VideoRecordingConfig.MaxDurationInSeconds" and "VideoRecordingConfig.MaxAgent Recording DurationInSeconds" rows. Initially set at 3 minutes (120 seconds), you can update these values according to your requirements.

In my testing, I modified the default value to 600, enabling me to record screen sessions for up to 10 minutes while remotely controlling through SOTI Xsight.

You can just use any screen recording tool that your computer supports for longer video captures.

There doesn't seem to have any observable GUI option in the MobiControl web-console to configure duration limit of RC recording session.
